How Walkable Is Your Community?

Everyone benefits from walking. But walking needs to be safe and easy. Use this checklist to take a walk with your child and decide if your neighborhood is a friendly place to walk. Or, you can make this a school project, a scout project, or a community service project.

Take heart if you find problems; there are ways you can make things better. After completion you can submit this printed form to your mayor's office, township commissioners, police, PTA, or safety office.
