 | The Chief Information Officer (CIO) is in charge of PennDOT's Office of Information Services (OIS), which is responsible for the leadership and management of all PennDOT Information Technology (IT) and Intelligent Transportation programs. The OIS organization includes the Bureau of Business Solutions and Services, the Bureau of Infrastructure and Operations, and the Project Development and Delivery Office.
Under the guidance of the CIO, the OIS supports PennDOT’s mission to deliver safe, efficient transportation services by providing information system policies, procedures, guidelines and regulations. These governance processes are rooted in a commitment to accountability and transparency, improved efficiency and effectiveness of enterprise IT management, and creating an IT infrastructure to improve PennDOT’s decision making and performance. | |
