			Mission: To lead the Maintenance Efficiency and Cost Effectiveness initiatives. Vision: To provide guidance and policy to the district and county maintenance organizations. To provide the field the tools (materials, equipment, training, data, and reports) to monitor and improve operations.
	Director's Message: Welcome to the Bureau of Maintenance and Operations Web Page. This is one more medium we are using to reach out to the Maintenance community and our customers alike, to keep them abreast of our activities and programs initiatives. This medium can also be interactively used by our customers, partners, suppliers and the maintenance community to send feedback to us. We believe that constant feedback will help PennDOT in moving Pennsylvania forward by achieving one of our strategic objectives; "customers focus" which recognizes the various needs and concerns of our customers; involves them in the design and delivery of our services, and ultimately allows them to drive our direct and measure or performance.
