The County Liquid Fuels Program funds a range of projects to support counties’ construction, reconstruction, maintenance and repair of county roads, streets and bridges. Funds are available to counties who submit annual reports (MS 991 Report of County Liquid Fuels Tax Funds, MS-992 Account Expenditures and MS-993 Account Schedule of Encumberance) and other related forms showing the receipt, expenditure and encumberances for the preceding twelve (12) months.
The use of the funds must be in compliance with the Act (Section 1.6 Appropriate Use of Funds).Failure to do so may result in the county not receiving allocations from the Department of Transportation until all discrepancies are resolved.
