County EMA Centers

This element consists of County Emergency Management Agency-operated locations where centralized emergency coordination is located during emergency situations.  The element includes systems and personnel at the EMA center that provide a single point of coordination by collocating representatives from various emergency response agencies/departments.  EMA Centers manage hazard identification, risk assessment, emergency planning, as well as emergency response and recovery monitoring, coordination, and control for emergencies and disasters.
