National ITS Architecture

Adjacent PennDOT District and County Offices

This element includes existing and future PennDOT TMCs, RTMCs, county maintenance offices, and stockpiles located in PennDOT Districts 1-0, 2-0, and 9-0, which are located north, northeast, and east (respectively) of the Region.  The element includes personnel and systems that coordinate with PennDOT entities within the region to perform traffic management, maintenance and construction, and incident/emergency management operations at or near district borders.  PennDOT TMCs and RTMCs will coordinate responsibilities under the proposed statewide operations framework.
