Berks, Carbon, Lehigh, Monroe, Northampton, and Schuylkill county government operations are included within the Region.  Departments typically having an impact on the transportation system include incident and emergency management agencies such as county police, fire, EMS, 911, and EMA’s, as well as county planning departments.
