Regional Description

Northwest Regional MapThis Region, in the northwest part of the state, is comprised of seven counties:

  • Clarion

  • Crawford

  • Erie

  • Forest

  • Mercer

  • Venango

  • Warren

Erie is the main urban concentration in the Northwest Region.  A large portion of the Region’s population lives in or near this metropolitan area.
